On a recent shoot for Speedo I experimented with some underwater shots on the Polecam using the new GoPro Black camera mounted under the Polecam cradle. This allowed the Polecam head and the camera to be dropped just below the surface of the water with full control of the pan and tilt. A simple and effective way to get some underwater shots without breaking the budget.
